Reflexology is a gentle and deeply relaxing holistic complementary therapy. It is based on the principle that all the body's organs, structures and systems have a corresponding reflex point on the feet and hands. By working on these points reflexology can provide a sense of general well-being, alleviate stress and help restore the body's natural balance.
Liz Redfern offers reflexology treatments on Thursday afternoons and at other times by appointment. On Thursday, there are three 1-hour sessions: 1.30-2.30pm, 3-4pm and 4.30-5.30pm.
Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.
Jenn Carpenter offers yoga classes for complete beginners and those who have done some yoga before. Classes are on Mondays starting 6 September. £9.50 pay as you go or discounts with block bookings.

Reiki means Universal Energy and is one of many ancient forms of healing that help balance a person’s energy system and promotes the body’s own natural ability to heal. When was the last time you allowed yourself to drift into a deep state of calm and feel revitalised afterwards?
Irene Forsyth offers Reiki treatments on Tuesdays (1.30pm-4.30pm) and Fridays (9.30pm-4.30pm), and at other times by arrangement.
Learning Reiki can help you develop more serenity, help you deal with stress and enhance your spirituality. We offer a full set of Reiki courses: First and Second Degrees, an intermediate Deepening course, and finally Reiki Master. All courses are accredited.
Irene Forsyth offers Reiki courses at different levels frequently throughout the year, on Sunday. Each course includes study at home, followed by a group class in person at the Studio, which is a full day except for the Master level, which takes two days.
